Electric Roots Concert Series is a collection of artists paying tribute to the evolutionary sound of today's Reggae vibe, Roots Reggae made popular by the great Bob Marley, who pioneered the catchy skanking guitar and one drop drum rhythm. Today that sound has evolved from its roots and has taken on a wider spectrum that has popularized the genre of reggae more than ever. Ska, Dub, Hip Hop, and Island are all roots relatives that have been more apparent in today's reggae sound. The Electrix Rootx concert series brings these genres back together like a family reunion in one vibe, peace and music jamboree.
