Carrie Campbell - Foundation Room Concierge & Coordinator
Carrie Campbell has joined us as the new Foundation Room Concierge. For the past 3 years, she worked at Kirkland Productions as a booking agent for speakers, comedians and performing artists at Colleges/Universities. Carrie started her involvement in theater and music production during college at Pittsburg State University where she studied Marketing and Music.

Living in Dallas for the past 3 years, she loves exploring the city and all it has to offer. Carrie is very involved with civic organizations in the area such as Habitat for Humanity, Metro Dallas Homeless Alliance and the Ronald McDonald House.

At the request of our members, the roped off section in the general admission area on the music hall floor formerly known as the "Foundation Pit" is no more. The open area with couches has been replaced with cocktail tables and barstools. Members may request them per the guidelines below:

• Barstool requests are processed on a first-come, first-serve basis
• Members may request no more than (4) barstools/(1) cocktail table per show
• Requests must be submitted no less than 24 hours BEFORE the show
• Only members that purchase general admission tickets can submit requests, balcony seat ticket holders are not eligible
• Please contact your Foundation Room concierge to secure barstools. Requests submitted to other staff members will not be honored
• Barstools/cocktail tables may not be available for all shows, please contact your concierge for availability
• Barstools will be placed under the same name as the ticket request; name changes must be submitted 24 hours before the show

House of Blues Dallas will be hosting Gospel Brunch once a month beginning on SUNDAY, JULY 24, at 12:30 pm. Brunch will resume with the world famous buffet and live Gospel performances.

Members may use their complimentary brunch ticket allotment; up to 4 tickets per brunch. Space is limited so contact your concierge as soon as possible to secure tickets.

Join us for an unlimited tasting of wines from Foundation Room's private stock. Paired with an array of appetizers, this event will surely satisfy even the most discerning pallet. Become intimately familiar with each offering through our very own wine steward and newest Foundation Room team member, Brian Alexander; as he will be on-hand to meet, wine, and dine you.

Members and their guests are $50. Non Members are $75. Tax and gratuity not included. Payment authorizations are required. Contact your concierge for additional information. Reservations are MANDATORY.

Member support helps IHOBF bring the arts to students, teachers, and other community members each year. As we approach the close of the 2010/2011 school year, IHOBF would like to thank all Dallas Members. Your support has helped bring arts and cultural programming to thousands of area youth.

During this school year, IHOBF has been able to provide Blues SchoolHouse (BSH) Programs both in and out of our venue, Visual Arts Workshops, Cultural Journeys Programs, the Third Annual Dr. King Celebration, multiple teacher workshops, a Bringin' Down the House Musical Competition for High School Students, the Drawing Us Together Visual Arts Exhibit/Competition for young and emerging artists, an Action for the Arts Celebration of World Cultures Student Recital and also supported music programs in numerous Dallas schools with the donation of instruments through the Action for the Arts Guitar Initiative, Music Initiative- Mariachi Program and Drum Initiative.

As we come upon another warm summer, there have been a few minor accommodations made to the dress code to help make our Texas heat a little more bearable. The Foundation Room dress code is business casual. Jeans may be worn, but must not be torn, faded, or oversized and should be worn with a collared shirt or designer t-shirt. Dress sandals and dress shorts are appropriate from now through Labor Day weekend. Sweatshirts, tennis shoes and/or athletic shoes, "flip-flops," baseball hats, and torn clothing are not acceptable.

Management reserves the right to consult with you on appropriateness of attire and has ultimate discretion in order to uphold the integrity of Foundation Room Dallas. When traveling to other Foundation Room locations, please ask your concierge for local guidelines, as each room varies due to local needs. From time to time, you may see celebrities and touring talent dressed outside the typical dress code. These are rare instances and exceptions will be judicious.

Please make sure to bring your membership card with you when you visit any Foundation Room. The Membership Card distinguishes you as a current member and allows you to take advantage of your food and beverage discounts.
