Lisa Linehan has loved music since she mastered her first musical puppet show in pre-school. She sang with school choirs into her college years. She graduated from the University of Virginia and worked for a top financial firm before pursuing a music career. Lisa worked in New York, London and L.A. but never lost her passion for music. An epiphany during an emergency plane landing led her to pursue life as a singer/songwriter. Her musical influences include Sarah McLachlan, Paula Cole, Tori Amos, Alanis Morissette and Natalie Merchant.
The title of Lisa's CD, Attachment Theory, was inspired by her work with women and children in a Hollywood domestic violence shelter. Lisa has performed at L.A. venues including The Knitting Factory, Cat Club, The Gig, Genghis Cohen, House of Blues and The Joint. Performance highlights include singing The National Anthem for the L.A. Dodgers, Lakers, Clippers and GALAXY. In Dallas, she has performed for FC Dallas and is singing for the Rangers in April. Lisa recently became the Dallas Director of Chick Singer Night (www.chicksingernight.com) and sang at the Chick Singer Night 20th Anniversary Party in Los Angeles, which featured Paula Cole.
Lisa is a big fan of live music, her dog (Zoe), impressionist paintings, blackjack, video poker, travel, karaoke, movies, spinning and hiking. Currently, Lisa teaches voice lessons for Elisabeth Howard's Vocal Power Academy in Dallas and works as an Account Executive for Janimation (www.janimation.com), which offers interactive web design and video production. In order to better serve our membership base, we have decided to make a shift in the weekly operating hours of the Dallas Foundation Room. These new hours will allow us to have the room open when most of our members are utilizing our services.
The hours of operation for the Dallas Foundation Room will be as follows.
Lounge:
Wednesday - Sunday: 6:00 pm to Close
Dining Room:
Wednesday - Thursday: 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Friday - Saturday: 6:00 pm - 11:00 pm
The lounge and dining room may still open on Mondays and Tuesdays for popular concerts and special events. These decisions will be at the discretion of management and members will be notified in advance for such cases.

This card will allow you to make purchases in any room of the venue. Use it in the music hall, the Pontiac Garage, the restaurant, the company retail store, and of course, your Foundation room.
Remember to keep your loyalty card, even after it reaches a zero balance. Money will be added to your card on your birthday, when you refer new members, and when you renew! The Foundation room manager can give you the balance on your loyalty card or you may contact your personal concierge.
Please let us know if you need a replacement card. Card must be present to redeem balance. Loyalty cards can not be used for ticket purchases or for gratuity.

On February 23rd, IHOBF-Dallas programming was featured on WFAA Channel 8's program "Good Morning Texas." IHOBF-Dallas Program Manager Nazanin Fatemian provided an overview of IHOBF's mission and select programming, and members of the IHOBF Dallas Blues SchoolHouse (BSH) Band performed an excerpt from the BSH musical presentaion. The International House of Blues Foundation (IHOBF) is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to bringing the arts to schools and communities through programs that promote cultural understanding and encourage creative expression.
