Top Chef finalist, major brand spokesperson, and reality show chef-mentor Antonia Lofaso has always pursued her passion for food with great zeal. From her six years at Wolfgang Puck's Spago to her role as Executive Chef for Foxtail, the upscale Los Angeles supper club, Antonia has honed her creative culinary skills in four-star establishments.
Antonia has shared recipes and tips on NBC's Today show, and appeared as a guest chef on the winning team of an episode of Top Chef Masters, which aired on Bravo in the summer of 2009. She has been profiled in Parade, People, Bon Appetite and Cookie magazines, as well as the Los Angeles Times and L.A. Confidential, and numerous web magazines. A four page profile in American Way magazine dubbed her "The Unstoppable Antonia Lofaso."
In September of this year, Antonia seized the chance to return to television, this time on the other side of the judge's table, as chef-mentor for Lifetime's newest series, America's Greatest Recipe, with Tyler Florence. Thousands of home cooks showed up to grill, fry, broil and bake for a panel of chef-judges, led by Antonia. Over the course of the series, she will mentor contestants as they strive to perfect their recipes and compete against each other for the title. Antonia looks forward to once again sharing with a television audience her love of good food and her appreciation for the bonds formed around great meals.
