Entry Requirements

Our venue will continue to ensure we are meeting or exceeding the latest guidelines from local government and public health officials as regulations continue to evolve. Please be sure to check the specific event page for the latest entry requirement details ahead of arriving to the venue for your show. Ticket purchasers will also receive direct emails with important information leading up to the show. 

Please note that requirements and venue protocols (such as masking, testing and vaccination) are subject to change, so be sure to check back closer to your event date for the latest information.

What is the Bag Policy?

Bags up to 12" x 6" x 12" are allowed in the venue.

All bags will be searched prior to entry.

Bags that are not clear will be subject to additional search.

When is the box office open?

The box office opens day of show ONLY starting one hour prior to doors. Types of payment accepted are cash, MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express. Credit card purchase requires valid matching photo ID. House of Blues tickets are available in advance via Livenation.com.

When is Will Call open?

Will Call is available 1 hour prior to door time. Customer must present their valid photo ID and actual credit card used for purchase. Name on ID must match credit card used.

Where should I park?

Citizens House of Blues Boston does not have a private parking lot. The preferred garage, the Lansdowne Garage, is located next door.

Is the venue handicapped accessible?

Citizens House of Blues Boston is wheelchair accessible. Please note it is unlawful for anyone, other than those with a disability or that guest's companion, to use tickets for disabled seating locations (unless such areas have been released for general seating). It is encouraged that guests who require accessible accommodations arrive 30 minutes prior to doors opening. Please call 1-888-693-2583 for tickets or more information.

What items are not permitted in the venue?

No backpacks, oversized bags, bottles, or any item that can be used as a weapon. No glow sticks or light sticks of any kind. No banners, posters or signs. No dress code for concerts.

What is your camera policy?

Personal cameras are allowed in the venue. Flash photography, video and removable lens cameras are not permitted without venue or artist approval.

Is the venue all ages?

All ages are welcome - unless otherwise stated on the ticket. Everyone needs a ticket for entry.

Are there seats in the venue?

For most events, the 1st and 2nd floor are General Admission / Standing Room Only. Reserved seating is on the 3rd floor. 2nd floor mezzanine may have a limited view.

 

DOES CITIZENS HOUSE OF BLUES BOSTON ALLOW RE-ENTRY?

Sorry, no. Citizens House of Blues Boston has a strict No Re-Entry policy. Once doors open for the concert and you enter the building, you must stay inside until you leave for the evening.
