About Kevon Tyrre:
Moving to Las Vegas from New York in 1987, Kevon Tyrre began his love of music at the age of 15. At 17, he confirmed his talent by signing up for high school choir and ended up enrolled in the choir for Clark County for that year (1993). After college, Kevon Tyrre began competing in singing competitions, however, sensing something was missing for him to move forward in his career, he went on a 3 year sabbatical to find himself, leading him to sing in church choirs and work with other musicians from other fields. This proved a positive force for him, by sharpening his skills in singing, songwriting and overall confidence in himself and his talent.
As a writer, he has written or co-wrote lyrics with Las Vegas Hip Hop artist/producer Jay Lovett (THE JAY LOVETT LP http://jaylovett.bandcamp.com/album/the-jay-lovett-lp), Las Vegas/Cali Producer DJ Torch, German MC BADCASE (http://soundcloud.com/badcase4real), Las Vegas hip hop duo Astro Blunt (http://www.astroblunt.com) and for acts local, national & international. Partook in a online singing competition (keepsingin.com) and interviewed by KCEP Power 88, JLLN Radio , KLAV Radio, Red Panda Radio, WCOBM Internet Radio, RnR Radio, WBKE MEDIA, Vegas Live with Ninon, That's So Vegas, Right On Que Radio Show and Blog Talk Radio.
