About Mynor Guerra
Mynor started working for Maverick Aviation Group in April 2010 as the Vice President of Leisure Sales. He is responsible for overseeing a diverse range of business, including but not limiting the growth of several International Markets like Japan, China, Korea, Australia/New Zealand, Canada, Middle East, Mexico and South America. He works closely with Las Vegas Conventions and Visitors Authority in developing new strategies on how to increase Domestic business.
Before joining the Maverick family, Mynor worked as Vice President of Sales at Primm Valley Resorts & Casinos for 10 years. While at Primm Valley Resorts he was also responsible for generating new sales business for the sales departments at Nevada Landing Hotel, Gold Strike Hotel, Colorado Bell and Edgwater hotels located in Laughlin, Nevada. All where MGM Mirage’s properties at that time. Previous to Primm Valley Resorts he was recruited by Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino as a member of the pre-opening Sales team, a position he held for three years. Before relocating to Las Vegas, he worked at American Tours International in Los Angeles, California in several management capacities for five years. Prior to ATI, Mynor worked for Continental Airlines as a Sales Executive in Los Angeles, California.
Mynor completed all ‘Leadership Training’ classes offered by MGM Resorts, he is also an ‘MGM Diversity Champion’, and a graduate of the Primm Valley Resorts ‘Survival Training’ program. In May 2006, Mynor completed the UNLV continuing Education/Leader’s Edge ‘Lead Together Master Program.’ Mynor has also a degree in Business Administration and Hotel Management from LAPC.
Mynor serves in numerous hospitality industry organizations and is currently on the Southern Nevada Governor’s Committee for the Nevada Commission on Tourism. He also sits as an Auditor for the SKAL International Organization Committee and is a member of the American Society of Travel Agents and Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International.
Mynor has been married for 25 years, enjoys spending time with wife Mayra, his 19 year old daughter Maite, 14 year old son Anthony, 1 and a half year old silver lab blue. On his free time he likes to play golf, enjoys swimming, taking his dog Blue on bike rides and listening to music.
