About the Artist:

Blonde Roses blends alternative grit and southern blues to create a harmonious union. Pulling inspiration from their strong Louisiana roots, they are also heavily influenced by the 60's and 70's and coin these decades as the backbone to their songwriting. The band's lead vocalist, Molly, states "My parents introduced me to incredible artists like Joni Mitchell and Simon and Garfunkel, among many others, at a young age. I grew up being inspired by singer/songwriters and the stories they told through their lyrics. It’s shaped me into the artist I am today. Making sure that the music we create says something is extremely important to us."

Starting strong, Blonde Roses exclusively released their debut single 'Bullet' on Consequence of Sound, followed by an accompanying music video directed by John Paul Summers on Huffington Post. The band has set forth to deliver honest, raw lyrics about overcoming life's obstacles and gaining strength from destruction. Molly elaborated, "Even when things seem really tough, there's always that light at the end of the tunnel that keeps you going. It's up to you whether you run to it or stay in place. I want our fans to feel like they aren't alone in feeling lost at times. I want them to know that it's going to be ok even if it doesn't feel like it at the time. That there's something bigger and better waiting for you if you look hard enough. Life isn't always going to be easy, but it's a blessing."

With bold, sultry vocals atop powerful instrumentation, Blonde Roses released their debut EP, Hell or High Water, featuring single “Anymore." Fans can stream the debut 5-song EP released exclusively on Substream Magazine.
