About the Artist: 

Stone Rabbits are an unusual group of young musicians from the New Orleans area. Brought together by musical taste, friendship and a simple desire to create, Stone Rabbits Began in 2007. 

Stone Rabbits draws on the influences that combine the classic roots of contemporary rock greats such as: Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Led Zeppelin, and The Grateful Dead. Combined with more contemporary styles of artists such as Dave Mathews, The Black Keys, Wolf Mother and Phish. 

They began to create compose and rehearse their own songs at Roadkill Studios in Covington Louisiana, just North of New Orleans. There they have had time to refine their own singular sound and style. In the first two years Stone Rabbits produced CDS which have drawn much local attention and sold over 2000 copies by word of mouth alone. 

A growing local reputation allowed them access to perform at the Voodoo Fest in 2009 and 2010. 

They have had memorable Jam Sessions at their studio with members of Trombone Shorty's Orleans Avenue, and legendary performers such as the Drummer Great, Simon Lott. Many other past and present performers from the vast pool of New Orleans area musicians have passed through their studio and served as mentors. 

Stone Rabbits are a five piece band composed of Sambo Bachrack (drums), Ben Burbrink, (Guitar and Lead Vocals), Greg Rider (Bass), Logan Sellers (Lead Guitar), and Kenny Rider (Piano/Organ). All of the members have deep musical backgrounds going back to their childhoods. Stone Rabbits imply a complete collaborative approach when it comes to writing and producing their own music.
