About Abel -
Abel Gallardo, was born on July 8, 1983 in Mountain View, California, although part of his childhood was lived in Guatemala, where his parents are from. Music has been a part of Abel’s life since the cradle because music has always been a big part of his family. Musical instruments were next to his toys, and this led to his current great versatility and independence in producing music. It could also be said that his first great influence was his mother, who even managed to stand out in the musical community in his town.
When he was 15, Abel returned to the United States, with the idea of starting his professional career in music. His first focus was as a composer, and since his purpose was to be recognized by other singers who wanted to play his music, he began to develop his own style. In his music, Abel sings what he lives, and tries to live in reflection about what comes with each day. Through this beginning, Abel traveled to different countries trying to enrich his perception of others, and achieve more thematic resources based on his own experience.
Abel was part of the Chicago-based Spanish rock group, “Yerba Mora” for more than 10 years. This band would gig together in many places across the United States, and was even an opening act in international concerts. When the group disintegrated, now bearing more experience, Abel decided to consolidate himself, and in his own studio, he began his solo musical productions.
In 2014, he gained the interest of a renowned producer of Latin music, Junior Cabral, who has worked with prominent figures such as Ricardo Arjona, Pepe Aguilar, Juan Gabriel, Ana Gabriel, Lucero, and Julio Iglesias among others. Junior Cabral not only produced his album but also signed it with his diskette label, Cabanna Records. This association will soon be the official launch of Abel Gallardo’s first single, entitled “Mi Declaraciont”.
Abel Gallardo is set on achieving musical recognition through all the Spanish-speaking countries, and the United States. He plans on beginning a promotional concert tour that will start in North America, and will extend to several countries in Central and South America. His ultimate goal is to continue delivering sincere messages from the heart that encourage his audience to love, live in peace, and enjoy his music that comes from the soul.
