CREDENTIALS - The Windy City Rev Ups have been performing for over 15 years and their experience includes 1,000's of live shows, plus 9 CD releases which have earned the band numerous Chicago area  music and media awards including Best Local CD Release, Best Blues Band and Best R&B Band. The band has been performing for 10 years at House of Blues Chicago and has appeared multiple times at Chicago Blues Festival, the worlds largest free blues festival and Taste of Chicago, one of the largest events in the Midwest and in 2017 at the 21st Annual Danny Boy Jazz and Blues Festival in Northern Ireland. The band has also appeared in over 200 Chicago area special events, festivals, casino's and night clubs including Soldier Field Stadium, US Cellular Field, Rock n' Roll Half Marathon, Arcada Theatre, Hilton Chicago Grand Ballroom, Hollywood Casino, Blue Chip Casino, Frankie's Blue Room, Underground Wonder Bar, Viper Alley, Bourbon Street, Harlem Ave Lounge, Blarney Island, River Roast, Smoke Daddy and at festivals and concert series in Glenview Town Center, Ravenswood Manor, Richton Park, St. Charles, Naperville, Montgomery, Aurora, N. Aurora, Mt. Prospect and many more.  The semi acoustic duo and trio version of the band, often times referred to as the "Windy City Duo" has performed for many years on monthly rotation at House of Blues Chicago, Joe's on Weed Street, World of Beer, Weber Grill, Beer House Chicago, Bar Louie and many more popular venues. The band has opened for and shared the stage with many well known musicians that include the Charlie Daniels Band, Marshall Tucker Band, The Outlaws, Joe Bonamassa, Wishbone Ash, Nighthawks, Koko Taylor, Lonnie Brooks, Eddy "The Chief" Clearwater, Larry McCray, Jimmy Burns, Lurrie Bell, Carlos Johnson, Anthony Gomes, Kaz Hawkins Band (UK) and many more. 

FAR BEYOND ORDINARY - The band is fronted by the sole official member "Rev", a triple threat on vocals, harmonica and guitar. The band's line up includes long time members and Chicago area professional musicians. The band's tight rhythm section is deep in the blues and fueled by rock n' roll energy that is complemented by the front-man's bluesy voice and soulful harmonica playing combined with full throttle guitars, saxophone, piano and classic Hammond organ tone.
