Chicago Blues All-Stars are a musical revue that features some of the most talented, entertaining and legendary artists on the scene today. Together they have created a singular sound that is uniquely eclectic, while drawing on all styles of American for inspiration. "Killer" Ray Allison and Chicago Slim, whose musical styles reflect their lifelong commitment as Blues disciples, lead CBAS.

The talent of these performers is only matched by the legendary artists that CBAS has shared the stage and recorded with domestically and internationally. Chicago Blues All-Stars have worked alongside legendary artists such as: Jeff Beck, Chuck Berry, Eric Clapton, Albert Collins, James Cotton, Bo Diddley, Willie Dixon, Buddy Guy, John Lee Hooker, Albert King, B.B. King, Gary Moore, Ohio Players, Rolling Stones, Otis Rush, Hubert Sumlin, Koko Taylor, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Muddy Waters, Junior Wells and Johnny Winter.

"Killer" Ray Allison (Guitar/Vocals): First broke into music during the early 1970s and has toured as a regular on the international Blues circuit for over four decades. "Killer" Ray has been a integral tour-de-force in bands by James Cotton, Buddy Guy, Koko Taylor, Muddy Waters and Junior Wells. In 1998 and 2000, Ray was nominated for a W.C. Handy aways as an instrumentalist. He's also a featured on Eagle Rock Entertainment's 2012 DVD/CD release, "Muddy Waters & The Rolling Stones Live At The Checkerboard Lounge, Chicago 1981." 

Daniel "Chicago Slim" Ivankovich (Guitar/Vocals): He cut his teeth at the tender age of 18 as the musical director for legendary bluesman, Otis Rush. Slim's shared the bill with Rock & Roll Hall-Of-Famers Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Buddy Guy, John Lee Hooker and Albert King. His critically acclaimed radio show, "Out Of The Blue" has been syndicated in over 60 markets nationwide. Prolific credentials as entertainer, media personality and humanitarian have helped him energize a new generation of Chicago Blues fans.

Anji Brooks (Vocals): At a young age, Anji Brooks is already a force to be reckoned with on the Chciago Blues Scene. While only in her 30s, she's assumed duties as lead vocalist for CBAS. Brooks passion for music, matched with her versatile and powerful voice, gives her performance a heart-pounding urgency. Her music come from deep within her soul and the experiences that have shaped her life.

All-Star Horns: R&B veteran Johnny Cotton anchors this line-up, featuring some of the city's hottest horn players who have played with a virtual Who's Who of music. From legendary artists James Cotton, Little Milton and Bobby Rush, to modern pop stars like Ohio Players and Lenny Kravitz . . All-Star Horns put the 'unk in your funk.
