ABOUT JACQUEES

No matter what you do, you’ve got to know your roots and Jacquees certainly does. The Atlanta-based singer & songwriter has cooked up his own smooth, slick, and simmering brand of 21st century R&B with an old school twist on his debut release 4275.

“I grew up listening to the greats,” states Jacquees. “My mom would play everything from Marvin Gaye & Barry White to Jodeci & Boyz II Men around the house. You could pull up on the block listening to those cats, and no one would think twice. I want to cause that same reaction. When you listen to my music, it will make you feel like you can roll up on any girl in the world. It’s that ‘G’ mentality.”

Jacquees definitely picks up the mantle for the genre, while forging his own way.

ABOUT FYB

FYB or Fresh Young Boyz is a group of upcoming artist headed by Florida artist Jacquees. It’s not often that you can achieve success with your brothers by your side. Brotherhood is an unspoken bond between men that is defined by the good times, the bad times and the struggle. FYB, which was formerly the acronym for, Fresh Young Boyz, has morphed into a deeper meaning, Forever Your Brother, as the hip- hop and R&B collective come together to form a power group. The self-proclaimed brothers include, R&B phenomenon Jacquees and rappers: Issa , Boakie, C-Trillionaire , DCDaVinci , Deequincy Gates, FYB Tevin & Bpace. Though a collective, make no mistake, the eight group members have generated their own success in the music industry. Combined, the group members have performed at sold out shows across the world, accumulated billions of streams world-wide and worked with some of the most reputable music artists and producers in the industry.
Growing up, the childhood friends gained musical influence by listening to Jody Breeze, Andre 3000, Lil Wayne, Future and Gucci Mane to name a few. “Atlanta molded us,” says one of the members. With Atlanta still going strong as the Hip-Hop mecca, it is safe to assume, that anything the city births will be nothing short of amazing.

FYB is gearing up for the release of their debut album, Hood Relatives.
