J. Salaam aka Brotha Jibril is an Atlanta based soulful dance music DJ. Jibril's approach to dance music is to create a soundscape influenced by the sounds of Disco, Soul and Jazz. Jibril hosts a House Music event in Atlanta that focuses on the Jazz elements of House Music called "SoulShine" as well as a residency with Houston's DJ Nimbus at "Exposure". His soulful sound can also be heard on his monthly radio show "Shakedown Radio" hosted on Mixcloud.
