Featured Acts
Part of the mid-90’s revival of roots rock, The Wallflowers are an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1989 by singer-songwriter Jakob Dylan and guitarist Tobi Miller. The band’s album Bringing Down the Horse was released in May 1996, producing the radio hit "6th Avenue Heartache." Late in 1996, the single "One Headlight" was released, and by the spring of 1997, it had become a Top Ten hit, pushing Bringing Down the Horse into the upper reaches of the charts, as well. The Wallflowers went on to release three additional albums before going on a 7-year hiatus. By 2012, the group reunited to release their sixth studio album, Glad All Over. With their tunes led by the vocals of Jakob Dylan and Rami Jaffee's Hammond organ, the band’s sound comes from genres such as, Pop Rock, Folk Rock and Roots Rock.
