Formed in 2014 by Ant Boogie of Collective Hallucination specifically for a music festival being held in Houston, Ant who has been known for his forward thinking thought to himself Houston loves Prince and related artist so their needs to be a Prince tribute band before Prince or any of the related artist pass on. Unfortunately, a few years later the world mourned the loss of the icon.
After the music festival, the band decided to stay together and do more shows!
During the past few years, The Breakdown Band has gained a large following throughout the Houston area and they were set to take their show on the road prior to the pandemic shutting the world down.
The band has performed songs by Prince as well as Jesse Johnson, Tamara and The Seen, The Time, Sheila E., Mint Condition and many other Minneapolis Music Artists!
The Breakdown Band is a must-see band with an amazing stage show that will leave you breaking out in a COLD SWEAT.
