Hailing from Houston, Tx, Martell's voice has delighted audiences of a wide spectrum and demographic. Having sung background vocals for Chante Moore and circulating Houston's top music and art venues, Martell continues to dive deeper into his artistic passion with the intention of spreading love. Comprised of longtime friends and musical peers, FOXGLOVE has served as the architects for the live & acoustic sounds of multiple artists including Martell Lacey. their unique brand of R&B (Rhythm & Brass), has earned this Houston-based collective the attention of varied audiences. Debuting @ Warehouse Live in 2016, the band has continued to perform at local venues.  Most recently, FOXGLOVE was commissioned for consecutive virtual tributes for PrinceDayHouston @ R&R Studios in 2021.
