Shorty Fest 2019 Presented by Acura continues the New Orleans tradition of playing it forward! The 7th annual Shorty Fest, a benefit concert for the Trombone Shorty Foundation, will fill two stages at the House of Blues New Orleans with an incredible lineup of jazz, blues, funk, rock and soul artists. VIP and Patron tickets include an open bar and access to the VIP balcony and the Foundation Room, Patrons have reserved loge seating. Featured guests include Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, The Soul Rebels, New Breed Brass Band and more.
Shorty Fest is the largest fundraiser of the year for the Trombone Shorty Foundation. Founded by New Orleans' own Troy "Trombone Shorty" Andrews in 2013, the Foundation develops the musical talent of underserved New Orleans youth. Through music education, instruction, mentorship and performance programs, the Foundation's mission is to preserve and perpetuate the unique cultural and musical heritage of New Orleans for future generations.
The following bag policy is in place: Bags up to 12"x6"x12" are allowed in the venue. All bags will be searched prior to entry. Bags that are not clear will be subject to additional search.
