The Tempted are a local New Orleans based roots band with a bluesy, Memphis soul, and r&b sound. Payton Boeh's dynamic, soulful vocals are the perfect complement to her seasoned bandmates and bonvivants: Kevin Murphy on slide guitar, Dave Russell on sax and keys, Dave Doremus on bass guitar, and Keith Hawkins on drums. Expect a tasty blend of classic New Orleans and American roots music.
