Born and raised in Brazil and based in New Orleans, DJ C’est Funk is a student of the groove based music made in the 70’s and 80’s. Specialized in funk and disco from Brazil to Nigeria to Japan, C’est Funk hosts his monthly event Batucada Groove, one of NOLA’s premier international music dance party, always aiming to give more exposure to different music and cultures from around the world. DJ C’est Funk is also a resident DJ at Fresh Quarter restaurant Justine and signed to Mystery Zone Records.

Foundation Room is 21+ and a dress code enforced. We are adhering to a relaxed dress code for Mardi Gras parade days. Dress shorts with a fashionable t-shirt and leather-soled sandals are allowed for men.
