Lauren Malara is the funniest Person in New Orleans. Seriously, she won a stand-up contest where she was awarded that title. From such clubs as Hollywood Improv, Comedy Store, Long Beach Laugh factory, Flappers & a host of others. She plays Lakendranique in web series “Common Law Wifeys” but is best known for telling stories about her strict African family & how she’s the obvious black sheep of the bunch. Leaving a background of nursing to pursue comedy, she has definitely made her rounds & her name is known throughout the comedy community. Hitting stages in Atlanta Georgia & Houston Texas & New Orleans Louisa a whether she’s hosting at a baby shower or a divorce party you are bound to laugh with her. Recently she starred in a Liquid Death water company commercial & 2021 “Hip-Hop Christmas” on VH1 where she was able to work alongside MC Lyte & Redman.

As a black queer woman moving through the world Keeda has used the world of laughter to heal and to find joy. Keedas been in the comedy streets of New Orleans for 4 years and is a bucket of laughs. She just wants people to be able to laugh and not cringe at a comedy show so she grabbed a mic.
